Unicornucopia…Unicorns EVERYWHERE!!

So can you guess what this post is going to be about?

I went to an art show in Anaheim at a gallery called Rothick Art Haus, which is a cute little gallery that is run by an adorable pink haired lady and her husband. The show was an epic tribute to the most majestic of creatures with tons and tons of AMAZING unicorn art work.

Me and Tara, my high school biffle, in our matching unicorn dresses. (Also note, unicorn necklace + unicorn tattoo. heeeeeeh)

Hahaha, the title of this peice was something along the lines of  “Look, we are totally the same!”. Unicorn is unamused.

Could I please get one of these in every color. Sweeeeet.

Disturbingly  beautiful Kukula art.

My childhood! I almost teared up at this one. Srsly, I relate.

One of my favorites, by Glenn Arthur

Art break!

These guys are having a totally spontaneous and unprovoked conversation. Has nothing to do with the camera pointed at them 😛

Unicorn princessessssss.

Back to the art!

Mustache unicorn!

So then we wandered into a tiny room off to the side, that happened to be filled with Dr. Sketchy’s art. Rothick hosts the Anaheim chapter of Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School, and befitting the show, they did a unicorn themed class. Awesome!!

Amazing quick sketches!

This here is the mask worn by the live art model, and behind it is the cutie gallery owners butt, teehee.

Kelly, the one with the butt pictured above, noticed my unicorn necklace, gasped and led me into the bathroom. I was very confused, but it turned out that the bathroom was filled with art also! Including a unicorn made from perler beads that was very similar to my own!

But which one is better??!  XD

I wish I had seen this show sooner so I could tell you to go check it out but alas, I caught it on closing night 😦

However, do go check out the Rothick gallery and if you art dabble, join a Dr. Sketchy’s class. You never know who you might see there ;D

Thanks for reading!
